Effortlessly combine Italian meatballs and jumbo shells with your favorite marinara sauce and cheese for a meal that's sure to impress a crowd.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 45 mins
  • Yields: 6 Servings

Ingredients

12 ounces Golden Grain® Jumbo Shells

1 package (32 ounces) frozen Italian style fully-cooked meatballs, thawed according to package directions

1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce

1/4 cup water

2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend or mozzarella cheese, divided

Directions

1Preheat oven to 375° F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.

2Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well and allow to cool slightly.

3Place one meatball into the center of each pasta shell and arrange filled shells in the prepared dish, stacking some if necessary so they all fit.

4Pour spaghetti sauce evenly over all of the pasta shells. Drizzle water over the sauce. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese. Cover and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot.

5Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

Cook’s Tip: Have another jar of sauce handy in case your family wants to top their shells with more.
