Cheeseburger Noodle Skillet will satisfy your burger craving without the messy grill by using one pot for an easy weeknight dish!
1 pound ground beef
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with onions, not drained
2 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard or Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper, to taste
12 ounces Golden Grain® Medium Egg Noodles
8 ounces American cheese for melting, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1In a large non-stick skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until meat is cooked through. Drain off fat and return meat to the skillet.
2Add tomatoes, water, mustard, and salt and pepper. Heat over medium-high heat until simmering. Reduce heat to maintain a simmer and stir in dry noodles.
3Cook, stirring frequently, for about 7-9 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
4Stir in cheese cubes and cook until cheese is melted, stirring frequently.
Top with your favorite burger fixings, like onions, mushrooms, hot sauce, bacon, or avocados.
