Spaghetti and Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients
8 oz (1/4 pkg) Golden Grain/Mission® Spaghetti
2 Tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
2 Cloves garlic, minced or ½ Teaspoon garlic powder
2 Cans (6-1/2 oz each) minced clams
2 Cans (14-1/2 oz each) tomatoes, drained, chopped
2 Tablespoons chopped parsley or 1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 Teaspoon salt (optional)
1/8 Teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
• Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Return pasta to pot; set aside.
• In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic; sauté about 1 minute.
• Drain clams, reserving juice.
• Add tomatoes, reserved clam juice, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper flakes to pan. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium-low.
• Simmer uncovered 20-25 minutes or until sauce is reduced in volume by one half. Add clams; simmer 5 minutes.
• Top hot cooked pasta with clam sauce.
• Serve with Parmesan Cheese.
