Mexican Manicotti Skillet

Ingredients
- 8 oz Golden Grain Manicotti, uncooked
- 1/2 lb ground beef, uncooked
- 1 can (15 oz) traditional refried beans
- 1 pkg (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning
- 1 jar (16 oz) picante sauce or salsa
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar or shredded Mexican blend cheese
Directions
- Combine ground beef, refried beans and taco seasoning; blend well. Fill Manicotti shells.
- Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray. Pour picante sauce and water into skillet; bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Place stuffed shells in a single layer in the skillet. Reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
- Using tongs, turn Manicotti and cook, covered an additional 10 minutes. Uncover and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until Manicotti is tender and meat is cooked through.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Tip: A pastry bag or zip-top bag makes filling the Manicotti easy. Fill a disposable pastry bag or a zip-top plastic food bag with the beef and bean filling; snip off the corner and use it to fill the Manicotti.
