Homemade Fettuccine Alfredo

Golden Grain Fettuccine (Cut)

Ingredients
  • 12 oz Golden Grain Fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain in a colander.
  2. In the hot pan, melt butter over low heat. Return cooked pasta to pan and toss to coat in the melted butter.
  3. Stir in cream and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and seasonings and toss to coat. Heat 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce is hot and cheese is melted.
  4. Top with additional shredded Parmesan just before serving, if desired. Garnish with minced parsley, if desired.
  5. For Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, stir in 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken just before serving.
