Golden Grain Sea Shells

Ingredients
  • 16 oz Golden Grain Small Sea Shell
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 pkg (3/4 to 1 oz) chili seasoning
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican blend Cheddar Pepper Jack cheese or shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Crushed tortilla or corn chips (optional)
Directions
  1. Cook ground beef in a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium high heat until brown, stirring frequently to crumble beef; drain.
  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chili seasoning and water. Cook until mixture boils, stirring frequently. Stir in uncooked pasta shells. Reduce heat to low and cook 12 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  4. Optional, sprinkle with crushed tortilla or corn chips just before serving.
  5. If desired, add 1 can (15 to16 oz) chili beans along with chili seasoning. Cook as directed.
