Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 16 oz Golden Grain Medium Egg Noodles
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup salsa con queso process cheese sauce
- 2 cans (6 oz each) chunk light tuna, drained
- 1 cup frozen sweet peas
- 1 jar (2 oz) pimentos, drained
- 1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray coating.
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring frequently, until onion is tender.
- Combine all ingredients except potato chips and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Spoon into prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbling.
- Toss potato chips with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle chips over casserole and bake, uncovered, an additional 10 minutes.
- Let stand a few minutes before serving.
