About Golden Grain
Golden Grain-Mission has a long-standing tradition of pasta making that all began with an Italian immigrant…
In the early 20th Century, Domenico (a.k.a. Charlie) and Maria DeDomenico of San Francisco knew they had a product their Italian-American customers would love… pasta! Living an immigrant's dream, they quickly built their once small company into an impressive family business. The valued and trusted enterprise was known as Gragnano Products, Inc. It delivered pasta to Italian stores and restaurants in the area.
Prompted by one of their son's suggestion, in 1934 the family changed the company's name to a more descriptive Golden Grain Macaroni Company.
In 1956, Golden Grain purchased Mission Macaroni Company. The brands were brought together under the name Golden Grain-Mission in 1995.
Today, with a wide array of shapes and sizes, Golden Grain-Mission continues the tradition as a valued and trusted brand for all your pasta needs.
Buon Appetito!
